As I mentioned in my previous journal I mentioned that I wanted to change my username an have a fresh new start to my deviantart page and my art in general. So here it is. After a lot of deliberation I have changed my name. For some time now I have believed that 'feelin' blue' was a bit of a depressing name. It wasn't intentional, initially I just liked the name but I've outgrown it and wanted something a bit happier. 'Pooka' is a name one of my best friends from Uni gave me so I'll always associate it with happier times.

So anyway I'm now feeling very motivated to draw more, I hope you like my new art.


Time for a change. Help!HELP
For some time now I have felt that I have outlived my old username. It was a random name that I thought up 7 years ago on the Lion King Fan Art Archive and I feel that I need a fresh new start to get myself out of a rut I feel I am in.
So the problem is I can't think up of a new username that I like and that I think suits me and my pictures. I was wondering if anyone could help.
I have had a few ideas below, so if you could comment on which you prefer it would make me very happy :
Ideas
Blue Spotted Leopard:- kind of based on my old feelinblue character http://fav.me/d16rc0e
NatterJay:- a shortened play on my first names and a nickname
RoyalAlpaca:- a play on a nickname of mine and the colour blue (royal blue)
Pooka:- My favourite idea so far. Its a nickname a friend from uni gave me ages ago based on Pooka the dog from the Anastasia animated movie. Apparently I quite often look like a scruffy spaniel. XP After a bit of researching the term Pooka I



I have also started a new blog on Tumblr. It will mostly be focussing my art, but there may be a few stories etc. so check it out!

Anyways I've just been reading the books front the rise of the guardians movie (awesome movie btw) and I quite like the pooka characters:  images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__c… (i.e. the easter bunny) It also seems as though Pookas are celtic shapeshifting creatures en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%BAc… which makes me like the name even more.

(I still kind of want to get the blue theme in there. )
